About Me
I initially became a Child and Youth Worker to be that person I needed when I was growing up. I felt that I could have saved myself years of poor decisions, getting off track and not listening to my voice, if I had someone who was able to show me I did not have to accept my present as it was. I would have been able to recognize the conflicts I had within myself as I personally experienced my own struggles of the mind, heart, and soul, where I had put myself in a dark, deep hole, and allowed myself to stay there for years. It is for this reason, I yearn to support individuals and families, finding peace and harmony within themselves and in their homes.
Throughout the 20+ years of experience, there were many titles I carried, Youth Worker, Behaviour Resource Facilitator, Crisis Support Itinerant, Professional Family Facilitator and Case Manager, to name a few. I have supported and assisted with many children, youths, young adults, parents, guardians, staff members and their friends in various locations, such as group homes, hospitals, shelters, school boards and youth maximum prison. All this training and knowledge taught me priceless life lessons. Then came a pivotal moment when I truly had to rebuild my life, in every aspect, from the ground up. This left me questioning what I what I truly wanted to do for the rest of my life while being cautious not to fall prey into repeated patterns.
My truth forced me to confront the uncomfortable. I had to deal with all the issues I strategically tucked away in my subconsciousness. I had to go back to my roots. I was determined to chase nothing except my passions and happiness. I started to believe in my own voice again and the peace that descended over everyone else’s volumes, was confirmation that I was on the correct path. I was at a point where I was in the best relationship with myself, and others started to pay attention and follow. I had purpose, direction and lived intentionally. I had a strong foundation from my life experiences, an indomitable mindset, and a volcanic drive to create the life I wanted. I started working on it, one step at a time.
I deepened my sense of purpose, I began to look at how I could enhance the life changing strategies I was already implementing. I educated myself, branched out and became a Certified Life and Wellness Coach, a Family Coach, and a Workshop Artist. Then I opened my own business, FAC was born. I went even further and got certified in mastering the skills of applied intuition tools. Once again, I was ready to answer my calling.
I understand and accept the dedication it takes to improve the quality in oneself and the harmony in the home. I believe all members involved can go out into the world and shine brightly while living courageously and confidently towards their dreams. It all starts in the foundation of the home.
Thank you for arriving here.
You are welcomed at FAC.
