About Me
During my 20+ years in the Social Services field, I’ve had many titles yet my intention was always the same, harmony within the home.
I initially became a Child and Youth Worker to be that person I needed when I was growing up. I feel that I could have saved myself years of poor decisions, getting off track and not listening to my own inner voice, my truth. I believed if I had someone who was able to show me I did not have to accept my present as the rest of my life I would have been able to recognize the conflicts I had within myself. It is for this reason, I yearn to support families, in their environments and how to help them figure out the best way for them to communicate with each other and themselves.
It wasn’t until I truly had to rebuild my life, in every aspect, from the ground up, that left me questioning what I honestly wanted to do, where I wanted to be and how I can serve. All while being cautious not to fall prey into repeated patterns where I had put myself in a deep, dark hole, in which I allowed myself to stay there for years. My truth forced me to confront the uncomfortable. I had to deal with all the issues I strategically tucked away in my subconsciousness.
The validity assisted me to go back to my roots, only this time I was determined to chase nothing except my passions and happiness over money. I started to believe in my own voice and the peace that descended over everyone else’s volumes. It was confirmation that I was on the correct path. I was at a point where I was in the best relationship with myself, and others started to notice and listen.
I had purpose, direction and more importantly a vision, not only what I wanted to do but the type of person I wanted to become while living intentionally. I had a strong foundation from my life experiences, an indomitable spirit, and a volcanic drive to create the life I wanted. I started working on it, step by step, these motives allowed me to create my present.
Throughout the twenty years, there were many titles after I graduated, Child and Youth Worker, Behaviour Resource Facilitator, Crisis Support Itinerant and Case Manager, to name a few. These titles were given while working with many youths and their families/guardians and the people who mattered most to them in various locations such as group homes, hospitals, shelters and youth maximum security jail, which all taught me priceless life lessons.
I started to look at how I can enhance my work with people while continuing with life changing strategies I was already implementing. I deepened my sense of purpose, started educating myself and became a Life and Wellness Coach and opened my own business. Gathering all my experiences and education, this allowed me to shift focus on the relationships at home with Family Coaching. While coaching the individual members of the family, it also gave me the opportunity to see how to really get to the root of the issue one might be feeling unable to express. With this in mind, I went even further and got certified in mastering the skills of applied intuition tools. With this new responsibility and engagement, between coach and coachee, we are both able to fully capture the true essence of self.
I have applied all my life experiences and all my education to serve multiple variations of youth, families, communities, and organizations aiding with communication, uniting, and understanding while improving the dynamic of their environments. I believe in the noteworthiness of having peace within the your environment in order for all members involved to go out in the world and shine living their lives courageously and confidently.
